Kathleen McDermott

Kathleen McDermott is the Principal Investigator of the Memory & Cognition Laboratory.  She obtained her Ph.D. in 1996 from Rice University where she studied implicit memory and false memory.  She then did a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the Neuroimaging Laboratories at the Washington University School of Medicine, where she learned to apply functional neuroimaging techniques to the study of human memory. 

Dr. McDermott is currently Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychology and Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis.
