Barbie Huelser

Barbie received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005 with degrees in Psychology and Philosophy. While she was there, she did an independent study on memory and suggestibility of young children under Dr. Holger Elischberger and Dr. Peter Ornstein.

Following graduation, Barbie worked at Duke University for Dr. Elizabeth Marsh as a full-time Associate in Research/Lab Manager. While at Duke, Barbie primarily worked on projects studying the memorial consequences of testing, but more broadly on how to apply cognitive principles to enhance educational practice.

Barbie began work at Washington University in May 2007 as a full-time Research Assistant for a grant that investigates test-enhanced learning in the classroom.
